ROVO — the ROVO rider app, ROVO Captain and ROVO Business, provided by ROVO — has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any form and on any part of our services.
Who uses our services
- ROVO is for people 18 years and older; age is checked at sign-up.
- Captains and stores may not let any minor use their account.
- If we find that an account belongs to a minor, we delete it and its data at once.
What we prohibit
- Any content, message, photo or voice note that sexually abuses, exploits, harasses or grooms a child — in the chat or anywhere on the platform.
- Using rides, deliveries or any of our services to traffic children or put them at risk.
- Any behaviour that harms a child during a ride or a delivery.
How to report
- Through "Support" in the app, or the SOS button during a ride.
- By email to support@rovo.work or phone 0109 650 3343 — ROVO's designated contact for child-safety reports.
- In urgent danger, call the police (122) or Egypt's Child Helpline (16000) immediately.
What we do when a report comes in
- We review it immediately and in full confidence.
- We suspend the account involved at once and preserve the necessary evidence.
- We report to the competent authorities in Egypt and cooperate fully as the law requires, including the Public Prosecution and child-protection bodies.
- We ban the account holder from all ROVO services permanently.
Compliance
We comply with Egypt's child-protection and cybercrime laws and with Google Play's child safety standards policy.
